TGIFF. City Place retailers invite you to celebrate the first Friday of every month. Hosted from 7pm – 10pm, First Fridays are an evening for the whole family, complete with complementary appetizers, cocktails, live music, art exhibits, and plenty of great deals on one-of-a-kind buys from our eclectic collection of boutiques and shops. We’ll be announcing the next First Friday soon, so stay tuned.
City Place has just been awarded for “Outstanding Planning Project” by the Orange County Section of the American Planning Association (OCAPA). This award was given based on the following criteria: Originality, Transferability, Quality, Implementation, and Comprehensiveness among others. City Place will accept the award in May.
Geisha House is now open. City Place’s newest neighbor, Geisha House is a modern Japanese Restaurant, Sushi Bar and Sake Lounge that embraces the flavor of traditional Japan.

On Thursday, September 4, City Place hosted a “Lunch & Learn” at Word & Brown, a local business in Orange County (wordandbrown.com). During the lunch session, City Place offered Word & Brown employees information about the residences as well as valuable insight such as why owning is better than renting. Speakers included a Wells Fargo Home Mortgage consultant and a local CPA. Lunch was catered by Corner Bakery.
